Waterplex Steel Slimline Garden Bed

The Waterplex Slimline Garden Bed can be easily placed in your garden, on your lawn, on a concrete slab, or on a tank stand to add some more eye-pleasing appeal to the area. This kind of addition creates some charm for the area without completely overwhelming the garden.

Made from the same Bluescope® Aquaplate® galvanised and Colourbond® steel as our high-quality water tanks, this garden bed also features an internal polymer lining that provides added protection from moisture ensuring a longer life. The use of Bluescope® steel for the garden bed also means that it is lightweight and easy to move into position. All the joins are machine riveted for extra strength needed to withstand the weight of the soil, and the top edges of the garden bed are rolled so there aren't any sharp edges.

If you are placing the garden bed on a lawn or in a garden, you should bury the first few corrugations to give the garden bed added stability. To work out the height of garden bed you need, add 15cm to the finished height you want to achieve. Next, fill the first 2/3 of the garden bed with suitable drainage materials and then lay a bed of straw on top of the drainage material. You can then fill the garden bed with topsoil, or, if you choose, you can add organic material to the pile such as cow manure, horse manure, raw fruits, and other organic material. Finally, plant what you want to plant in the topsoil or in the decomposed organic material.
