Designer Rainwater Tank
The brief for this prestige home in a premium location was simple: make the rainwater tank a feature in a contemporary design but with classic corrugated steel.
The site had absolutely no backyard access other than through the house or over the roof of the three storey home. The solution was as simple as the customer’s requirement.
Modular Water Tank made to the Customers Requirements
The AquaClad® modular flat-pack steel slimline water tank by Waterplex was made to the customer's required size and capacity and was carried through the house in its component parts and assembled in in the backyard. The straight, clean lines of the AquaClad® water tank using Bluescope® Galvabond® and Zincalume® steel provided the required modern designer look while using classic rain water tank materials.
The 4,200 litre steel rainwater tank was installed by a Waterplex® preferred installer on a concrete slab with charged inlet pipes to minimise the visual impact of any pipework. The rainwater pump was installed neatly alongside the tank to deliver water back into the home and for irrigation in the garden.
