REMS 18mm Bending & Back Former - 581450

The REMS 18mm bending former and back former are the more universal choice as these formers can handle a wide variety of different tube and pipe types. Optimum matching of these formers guarantees material-compatible gliding so that there's no risk of cracks and creases, offering a smoother and wrinkle-free bend. The bending former is made from high-strength ductile iron while the back former is made from high-quality glass-fibre reinforced polyamide.

The 18mm bending and back former works with the REMS Sinus, Curvo, Akku-Curvo, and Curvo 50 benders on hard, half-hard, soft copper tubes (also thin-walled), on coated soft copper tubes, on stainless steel pipes of pressfitting systems EN 10312, series 2, EN 10088, EN 10217-7, on soft precision steel tubes EN 10305-1, EN 10305-2, EN 10305-3, carbon steel pipes EN 10305-3, and on multi-layer composite tubes of pressfitting systems.
