The machine frame is made of distortion-free cast aluminum with protective covers engineered in shock-proof plastic material with a closed drive spindle to protect the motor and drive against dirt and water. The chucking system is located outside the machine housing with a straight through undivided drive spindle for the pipe and drain cleaning cable. The high-performance cleaning cables are designed to be highly flexible for effortless feed-forward in tight or several consecutive pipe bends. These drain cleaning cables are weather-proof and temperature resistant with a plastic core that protects the cable from dirt and damage.

The Cobra 22/32 runs one a powerful yet quiet running capacitor motor with high torque and right and left-hand rotation. Full transmission of the motor power is done by a slipping-proof maintenance-free toothed belt drive. The permanently lubricated, maintenance-free roller bearings allow for fast and secure run and stop of the cable through a strong, centrally located pressing lever that provides central power input. Another feature is the durable clamping jaws that offer instant and exact clamping and opening of the cables for optimum control, power transmission, and safe operating.
