Waterplex 5000 Litre Bagel Underground Water Tank w/Pedestrian Lid
When you install the Waterplex 5000 Litre Bagel Underground Water Tank with Pedestrian Lid, you'll have a reliable and durable water storage solution for a property that has limited space applications. Additionally, it's an excellent way to keep your water tank hidden from view. Faster, easier, and cheaper to install than high-profile underground water tanks, this low-profile underground tank does not require fencing or shoring of the excavated area if the excavation is less than 1500mm (1.5m).
Incredibly dependable once installed, the Bagel Underground Water Tank with Pedestrian Lid can also be used as a retention tank to hold water to meet local council requirements, as a detention tank for rainwater to meet local council building requirements, and as a rainwater tank for irrigation or reticulation back into the home to meet local, state, and federal requirements or guidelines. A reliable and durable 100mm retention/detention system can be created by drilling a hole to match the council-specified discharge rate (i.e. orifice plate) in the interconnection foot and positioning the overflow pipe at the desired storage level.
This water tank, which is suitable for installation in load bearing applications, is very cost competitive when compared with other polyethylene underground water tanks. Able to be installed at any stage in the building process, it is relatively light weight to allow for on-site movement and relatively straightforward installation. This water tank is accredited to the polyethylene water tank manufacturing standard (AS4766) and is accredited to the septic tank standard for the burial of water tanks underground (AS1546.1). It is one of the few approved underground watertanks by Housing NSW for installation in state government housing estates.
