The REMS R220 Amigo 2 Electric Hand Threader is an extremely strong and powerful, easy-to-operate electric tool able to thread thread pipes up to 2". It includes a unique support bracket without the need for a vice. It's the ideal tool for renovations and other applications that require powerful and reliable threading strength. This machine easily produces 16mm-50mm pipe threads and 6mm-30mm bolt threads and all with perfect seating of quick-change die heads.

Extremely strong and impressively fast, the R220 Amigo 2 threader is incredibly easy to maneuver, which is perfect when working in confined spaces. It only requires one type of small, compact quick-change die head and one type of die so that restocking is easy and efficient. The solid, easy-to-use support bracket supports the die stock against torque in both directions. Secure clamping is accomplished through an angular clamping spindle with a self-supporting effect. The Die Stock is easily mounted onto the support bracket and pipe without fuss.

The Amigo 2 drive is powered by a solid and maintenance-free gear universal motor, 1700W, with a 30% power increase thanks to an automatic carbon brush adjustment while changing the direction of rotation. It has a fast threading time of 30-18 rpm and includes a safety tip switch.

The reliable quick-change die heads offer proven technology and have been manufactured from high-quality special-grade steel and precise machining which ensures an excellent start-cutting performance and easy threading. Apart from no stalling of dies, the Amigo 2 gives long, precise pipe guidance for perfect pipe centering. The chip holes which become wider at the outside enable good chip flow and clean threads. Dies in a high-quality special-grade steel, fully tempered and hardened,
for extremely long die life.
